The essence of sonochemical effect is the cavitation effect, including the appearance of air nuclei, the growth of microbubbles and the rupture of microbubbles. Under the action of ultrasound, the fluid produces violent movement. Due to the change in sound pressure, the solvent is compressed and sparse. In the sparse phase region of the sound wave, the bubble expands and fills the surrounding liquid vapor or gas. In the compressed phase zone, the bubbles collapse and rupture rapidly, producing a large number of microbubbles, which can serve as new gas cores.
