Introduction of each component system of ultrasonic emulsification equipment

Aug 15, 2021

Under the action of ultrasonic energy, two or more immiscible liquids are mixed together, and one liquid is uniformly dispersed in the other liquid to form an emulsion-like liquid. This process is called ultrasonic emulsification. A wide variety of intermediates and consumer products such as cosmetics and skin care products, pharmaceutical formulations, paints, lubricants and fuels are full or partial emulsions. The emulsification ability of ultrasonic emulsification equipment in the laboratory has been well known and used for a long time, and it is used in the industry for high-efficiency emulsification of mass production in production plants.

Ultrasonic emulsification equipment can consist of one or more high-kilowatt ultrasonic processors, effectively providing the ability to convert laboratory applications to industrial production, achieving results comparable to today's good high pressure homogenizers for continuous flow or batch processing. A finely dispersed emulsion is obtained. The maintenance cost of the equipment is very low, and it is very easy to operate and clean. Power is adjustable to suit specific product and emulsification requirements.

There are many types of ultrasonic emulsification equipment, but the basic structure is roughly the same. It is usually composed of ultrasonic system, liquid flow system, control system, etc.

1. Ultrasound system

The ultrasonic system is mainly composed of ultrasonic generator power amplifier, piezoelectric transducer, ultrasonic handle and so on.

2. Liquid flow system

The liquid flow system is also called the injection and suction system, which is mainly composed of a pump, a pipeline and a handle. With the start of the phacoemulsification machine, the pump also generates negative pressure suction. The milk magic crystal nucleus is sucked out through the transmission of the pipe and the handle. Adjusting the speed of the pump can adjust the flow to control the negative pressure output.

3. Control system

The control system uses multiple independent microprocessors. Control the ultrasonic system, fluidic system and interface system separately. There are multiple emulsification modes to choose from according to different handles. Such as twisting mode, jet water emulsification mode and traditional emulsification mode, etc.: can control the modulation mode of ultrasonic energy, such as pulse mode, blasting mode and cold phacoemulsification mode, etc.; can control the suction rate 0-60m%in and negative pressure 10 -650mmHg (1mmHg=133.322Pa); in the control of the user interface system, the surgical steps and parameters can be individually set, the visual and graphical interface, animation, voice prompts and confirmation
